Teen creates Manny Pacquiao sliced bread art

DUBAI – A teenager from Samar province in the Philippines has created a sliced bread portrait of boxing icon Manny Pacquiao. Mark Noel Daras created the 30 inches by 40 inches portrait of Pacquiao in honor of his fight with Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugas in Las Vegas on Saturday (Sunday in UAE). Daras made the delicious artwork using 91 pieces of sliced bread and a gas lighter to form the portrait of boxing’s only eight-division champion. “I call this bread toast art because I used bread and [gas lighter] until I could form the image,” Daras told Sun.Star Cebu. It reportedly took the young artist 15 hours to finish the artwork. ICA/Expat Media
