Syrian teen stages his captivity, demands 30 million Syrian pounds ransom from his father

In an unusual event, a young man staged his own captivity and asked his father to pay a ransom to the kidnappers. Following up on the fake kidnapping case, the Syrian Ministry of Interior issued a clarification statement on the incident's facts. There was also messages received from an unknown number claiming to be the kidnappers asking for a ransom of thirty million Syrian pounds in exchange for his release.
