Sharjah housemaid falls to her death from building, employers taken into custody

  DUBAI – A 31-year-old Ethiopian housemaid died after falling from a building in Sharjah, according to Sharjah Police. Police identified the deceased as Teshay Mohammed Saeed. The housemaid was working for an Iranian family in the emirate. Police said her Iranian employers have been taken into custody for investigation. Sharjah Police said the woman was found lying in a pool of blood, with a cloth bag beside her. The incident happened on Sunday (May 24) in the Al Qasimiya area. Police said the housemaid fell from the fourth floor of the building. A forensic report revealed that she suffered from internal bleeding and skull fracture.
