Jordanian expat wins Dh1 million with UAE savings account

  A Jordanian national is the latest winner of Dh1 million in cash in Emirates Islamic’s Kunooz Savings Account raffle draw, the UAE-based bank announced on Tuesday (June 7). Naji Nizar Naji Alassaf won the cash prize after being entered into the draw for maintaining a Kunooz Savings account. The other grand prize winner is UAE national Jabr Ateeq Obaid Khamis Al Marar, who took home a new Tesla car. Two other bank account holders, Muna Ali Hassan Salem Al Marzooqi and Amit Khorana, won Dh10,000 each. Farid Al Mulla, Head of Consumer Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates Islamic, said the Kunooz Savings Account draw “has been instrumental in motivating our customers to save money for their future by rewarding them with daily and monthly prizes”. “We look forward to helping our customers achieve their dreams and inspire many others to enhance their chances of winning by saving more,” Al Mulla said. Customers with a Kunooz Savings Account in Emirates Islamic can win grand prizes worth Dh1 million and Tesla cars for every Dh5,000 maintained monthly in their account.
