Hot, dusty in UAE as temperatures hit 48°C
The weather in the UAE is forecast to be hot and dusty on Monday (May 23) as temperatures hit a maximum of 48°C, according to the National Center of Meteorology (NCM).
On Monday, the weather will be hot and dusty at times during daytime eastward, with internal areas experiencing high temperatures of between 44°C to 48°C. Clouds appear eastward by afternoon.
Humidity will reach between 80-85 percent by Monday night and Tuesday morning with probability of mist formation over some coastal and internal areas especially Westward.
Light to moderate winds will, at times, stir up sand that will cause some haze.

Tuesday, May 24
Hot and dusty during daytime. Low clouds appear over Eastern coast by morning. With a decrease in temperatures over some coastal areas especially Westward. Clouds appear Eastward by afternoon. Humid by night and Wednesday morning over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly becoming Northwesterly winds, and fresh at times over the sea causing blowing and suspended dust especially Westward, with speed 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.
Wednesday, May 25
Hot and dusty at times during daytime. Humid by night and Thursday morning over some coastal and internal areas. Light to moderate Northwesterly to Southwesterly winds, freshening at times over the sea causing blowing dust especially East and Northward, with speed 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be moderate to rough at times in the Arabian Gulf and slight to moderate, becoming rough gradually by night in Oman Sea.
Thursday, May 26
Hot and dusty at times during daytime. Light to moderate Northwesterly to Southwesterly winds, freshening at times over the sea causing blowing dust especially East and Northward, with speed 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
Friday, May 27
Hot and dusty at times during daytime. Light to moderate Northwesterly winds, freshening at times over the sea causing blowing dust especially East and Northward, with speed 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.
