UAE weather: Dusty conditions to continue as temperatures hit 45°C

  The weather in the UAE will continue to be dusty during daytime, with some haze expected over several days, according to the National Centre of Meteorology on Monday (May 30). Police warned drivers to be cautious due to low visibility during high winds and dust, and to avoid being “distracted by taking any videos or using your phone”. Monday’s temperatures are expected to peak at 45°C in internal areas, while humidity will reach up to 90 percent in coastal areas and islands. Here’s the 5-day UAE weather forecast

Monday, May 30

Fair in general and partly cloudy and dusty at times during daytime. Humid by night and Tuesday morning with a chance of fog or mist formation over some northern areas. Light to moderate winds freshening at times during daytime causing blowing dust over some exposed areas. The sea will be moderate to slight in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Tuesday, May 31

Fair to partly cloudy in general and dusty at times during daytime. Clouds appear eastward and might be convective by afternoon over the mountains. Humid by night and Wednesday morning with a probability of fog or mist formation over some western areas. Light to moderate Northwesterly becoming Southeasterly and Northeasterly winds freshening at times causing blowing dust over some exposed areas, with a speed 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

Wednesday, June 1

Fair to partly cloudy in general and dusty at times during daytime. With a chance of some rainy convective clouds formation eastward by afternoon and may extend over some internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times causing blowing dust over some internal areas, with a speed 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr. The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in Oman Sea.

Thursday, June 2

Fair to partly cloudy in general and hazy at times during daytime. With a chance of rainy convective clouds formation eastward by afternoon and might extended over some internal areas. Light to moderate Southeasterly to Northeasterly winds freshening at times causing blowing dust over some internal areas, with a speed 15 – 25 reaching 40 km/hr.
