Boy dies after falling into Abu Dhabi well

  A three-year-old boy died after falling into a well 72 meters deep in Al-Dhahir, Abu Dhabi on Friday evening (March 25). According to Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority, the boy was pronounced dead by specialised rescuers who arrived at the scene. The authority offered condolences to the deceased boy’s family on its Instagram account. The public was warned not to post misinformation or post related pictures that might invade the privacy of the deceased’s family. Last month, a six-year-old Emirati girl also fell from a well in Dibba, Fujairah. She was fortunately rescued on time. Authorities have reminded the public to block or add safety barriers on any public or private wells and earth holes for the protection of the children. KSO/Expat Media
