Man hangs himself from Abu Dhabi pedestrian bridge

  ABU DHABI - An Asian man was found hanging from a pedestrian bridge in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, the police said. The incident happened on the pedestrian bridge on Sheikh Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Road, also known as Airport Road. The police said the man committed suicide but that an investigation is underway to find out what drove the man to kill himself. Police received an alert about the incident at 11:19am and sent police and emergency workers to retrieve the body. The area was cordoned off during the operation, police said.
