Dates for Eid Al Adha 2022 in UAE revealed

The dates for the celebration of the Islamic festival Eid Al Adha in UAE have been revealed. The Eid Al Adha 2022 will astronomically fall on Saturday, July 9, according to Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Emirates Astronomy Society. Eid Al Adha, also known as the Feast of Sacrifice, is a Muslim commemoration of the Prophet Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice everything for God. The day before Eid Al Adha (July 8) marked as Arafah Day, the most important and holiest day according to the Islamic calendar will also be a holiday. Employees of both public and private sectors can enjoy a long weekend from July 8 to July 11 and resume work on Tuesday (July 12). Residents in the country can look forward to four more additional breaks after Eid Al Adha with the details to be updated soon. KSO/Expat Media
