Abu Dhabi ranked as the least congested capital in the world

According to the TomTom Traffic Index for 2021, out of 416 cities in 57 countries, Abu Dhabi is the least congested capital of the world based on the annual survey by the global navigation services company. The survey evaluated several factors, including the traffic congestion level in intersections and streets at different times, including peak hours. The number, durability, and programming of traffic lights, which affect their contribution to the traffic flow, were also analyzed. Abu Dhabi recorded a low congestion level of 11 percent.
