UAE Covid-19 cases surge to 1,084 on June 10

  The UAE reported a recent surge in Covid-19 cases, with 1,084 new cases reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) on Friday (June 10). This is the second day in a row that daily cases reached above 1,000. On Thursday (June 9), the UAE reported 1,031 new cases. The number of daily cases has increased in the last week, up from around 500 new cases daily from June 5 to 7, and 867 new cases on June 8. On Friday, the health ministry said the 1,084 newly infected individuals are from various nationalities and are in stable condition.
