Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas engaged?

  DUBAI - Actress Priyanka Chopra and singer-actor Nick Jonas are reportedly engaged. People magazine cited a "source" as confirming the news, while Chopra's decision to bow out of her Bollywood comeback film "Bharat" fueled rumours about her engagement. Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar posted on social media that Chopra opted out of the project in the "Nick of time", hinting that news of the engagement could be true. “Yes Priyanka Chopra is no more part of ‘Bharat’ and and the reason is very very special,” Zafar wrote, adding: “She told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her... Team ‘Bharat wishes Priyanka Chopra loads of love and happiness for life.” People magazine cited a source close to the couple who confirmed Chopra and Jonas got engaged on Chopra's 36th birthday on July 18 in London. The magazine also reported that Jonas had closed down a Tiffany and Co jewellery store in New York City earlier to buy the ring. The couple had been in the news since they met in last year's Met Gala in New York City and have been spotted together on several occasions since then. In June, Chopra was at the wedding of Jonas' cousin, while later that month, Jonas flew with her to Mumbai. The couple also attended Indian business magnate Mukesh Ambani’s son’s engagement party and were spotted wearing matching rings on the trip. They also flew to Brazil, New York and London, all in one month, where Chopra also spent time with Jonas' brother, Joe, and his fiancee, Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner. Chopra and Jonas have yet to confirm the engagement.
