McDonald’s, Coca-Cola called to boycott Russia
McDonald’s and Coca-Cola called to pull out sales and services as part of the sanctions against Russia. The two giant companies have been pressured and criticized on social media for failing to condemn the Russian attacks while they continue their business in the country. Over the weekend, the hashtags #BoycottMcDonalds and #BoycottCocaCola were trending on Twitter. Despite the criticisms, the two companies have remained silent. Due to the invasion of Ukraine, pressure is mounting on giant Western food and drink companies. . Deborah Meaden, a Dragon's Den investor, called out Coca-Cola on social media and urged people to quit drinking their products.KFC, Pepsi, Starbucks, and Burger King, have also been criticized for their continued operation and sales in Russia. Most of these companies have remained silent on the matter. Big companies like Apple Inc., Netflix, and Levi's have already stopped selling their products or delivering services in Russia. BKM/ Expat MediaCan you stop drinking Coca Cola please. They are refusing to withdraw from Russia. Let’s show them some people power.
