Pending UAE housing grant applications to get approved

  UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has ordered the completion of Dh2.3-billion worth of pending housing grant applications through the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme. The UAE President gave a timeframe of five years. The move is part of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed’s initiatives to enhance the stability of UAE citizens and ensure their quality of life. Following his order, all housing grant applications that are currently pending in the Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme will be processed in the next five years, said Suhail bin Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Minister of Energy and Infrastructure. The minister said this includes housing applications submitted by those eligible under the Programme's terms and conditions, and covers construction, upgrades and maintenance. ICA/Expat Media
