UAE approves multiple entry tourist visas for all nationalities

DUBAI – The UAE Cabinet has approved the issuance of multiple entry tourist visas for all nationalities. The new scheme will “strengthen the UAE’s status as a global economic capital” said Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai at a Cabinet meeting on Sunday (March 21). Sheikh Mohammed said the first-of-its-kind visa is aimed at establishing the UAE as a major global tourism destination. The UAE first announced multiple entry visit visas for tourists in January last year. Details about how to avail of a multiple entry visa and its costs are expected to be announced soon. Also on Sunday, Sheikh Mohammed announced that the UAE Cabinet has approved a remote work visa that allows employees to live in the country while working remotely for companies abroad. ICA/Expat Media
