Save 30 fils for parking payments through WhatsApp
Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) introduces an additional payment for public parking using WhatsApp. The WhatsApp service allows users to save at least 30 fils compared to the other payment platforms. Users just need to message RTA’s chatbot ‘Mahboub’ on WhatsApp with its number +97158 800 9090. The message should be typed in this format: [Plate Number] Space [Zone Number] Space [Duration] For example, if the car has the plate number Z00000 in the parking zone of 000Y and needs to be parked for three hours, the message format sent on WhatsApp should look like this: Z00000 000Y 3 Afterward, an SMS will be sent to confirm the parking ticket that is linked to the plate number. The method of charging for public parking through WhatsApp is available in two ways. The parking fee amount will be deducted from the credit with sufficient balance for prepaid numbers, while it will be added to the bill for the case of postpaid numbers. An RTA e-Wallet account is also the second method that allows your existing e-Wallet to pay for RTA-related services. Aside from WhatsApp, users can also pay for their parking through their Etisalat or Du registered mobile phones by sending an SMS to the number 7275 (PARK) with additional SMS charges. The WhatsApp parking service is also available for visitors with international phone numbers. KSO/Expat MediaYou can pay public parking fees in pic.twitter.com/Jym3QneGIz
