Missing Expo? You could still visit Vision Pavilion

DUBAI – While doors to Expo 2020 Dubai have closed, visitors can still experience the “greatest show on earth” by visiting the Vision Pavilion. Organisers said the Vision Pavilion, which celebrates the vision of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, will “continue to delight and enthral as part of the legacy of Expo 2020 Dubai”. The Vision Pavilion will continue to welcome visitors as part of District 2020, the human-centric smart city that will repurpose more than 80 percent of the Expo 2020 Dubai site. Organisers plan to relaunch the exhibition in the same format as Expo 2020 Dubai, but featuring a visitor experience further augmented with different programmes. The 360sqm Vision Pavilion gave visitors and in-depth guided tour experience on how Sheikh Mohammed’s vision shaped Dubai in the last 50 years. "The pavilion personified His Highness Sheikh Mohammed’s unparalleled influence on a city that more than 200 nationalities today fondly call home. It is perfectly fitting that this window into the life of a man who shaped the future – much like Expo 2020 Dubai itself has strived to do – will continue to amaze and captivate visitors as part of Expo’s legacy," said Marjan Faraidooni, Chief Experience Officer of Expo 2020 Dubai. The pavilion welcomed almost 200,000 visitors between October 1, 2021 and March 31, 2022. ICA/Expat Media ALSO READ: Hello 2025 Osaka Kansai, goodbye Expo 2020 Dubai
