New Children’s comic book tackles about future and dreams

The Dubai Future Foundation (DFF) unveils a first-of-its-kind children’s comic book that aims to inspire a new generation of leaders and equip necessary knowledge about the future. “Hind and Mohammad’s Journey to the Future” is a 20-page interactive comic book with the theme of the future and follows Hind and Mohammad’s journey in discovering their dreams and the children’s part in shaping a better future for humanity. The book was authored by DFF’s team and drawn by the Emirati designer Khawla Al Muheiri. The book has currently 300,000 paperback copies and is available in Arabic and English languages. Abdulaziz AlJaziri, Deputy CEO and Chief Operations Officer of the Dubai Future Foundation believed that the young people hold the key to shaping the future of the country as well as UAE’s journey of development towards the next fifty years. "Illustrative children’s literature is a creative approach that helps invite children to look past the present and give them the imagination to envision - and achieve - a better tomorrow," AlJaziri emphasized. The books will be distributed to children aged between six and 14-years-old in public and private schools across the UAE in a collaboration between DFF, the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), and the Emirates Schools Establishment (ESE).
