MERN Developer

Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer to join our development team. As a MERN (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full-stack web applications with a strong emphasis on performance, scalability, and security. You'll work closely with UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust, scalable full-stack applications using the MERN stack.

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

• Design and manage databases using MongoDB, ensuring optimal performance and data integrity.

• Build RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express.js.

• Develop responsive user interfaces using React.js and integrate them with backend services.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs and improve user experience.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.

• Participate in code reviews and team meetings.

• Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 2+ years of experience in full-stack development with the MERN stack.

• Strong proficiency in:

  • MongoDB (NoSQL database design and queries)

  • Express.js (backend API development)

  • React.js (state management, hooks, components)

  • Node.js (server-side development)

• Experience with front-end tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.

• Knowledge of Git and version control systems.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and web services.

• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).

• Experience with deployment tools and platforms (Heroku, AWS, Vercel, etc.) is a plus.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
